They catered the dinner for our wedding, and it was INCREDIBLE! They were so flexible, friendly and attentive, I can’t rave enough about Up North Eats. Jesse and his team are amazing! Every part of the process was seamless and made my life as the event planner so easy! Great communication leading up to and during our stay. We used their service for 2 dinners. Chef on time, prepared and super fun and friendly. The whole experience was beyond expectations and the food was absolutely phenomenal! Best steak ever, and the walleye perfect as well. If you ever need a private chef service, Up North Eats should be your go to! We've already booked them for our annual event next year.

I used Up North three months ago for a surprise birthday party and it was FABULOUS! This time I hosted a small group after a conference presentation - less than 12 people. I wanted to keep it light and allow for more casual snacking and no commitment to a dinner. So we had appetizers and the amazing chocolate chip cookie as a dessert. Jesse was quite flexible with me and we added the most amazing walleye dinner dish with lobster sauce and made that an appetizer too. We had the charcuterie board (again- excellent), grilled shrimp skewers, and wagyu rib eye on crostinis. Everyone raved about the food - they finished the walleye (was hoping for leftovers) and stayed to eat the chocolate chip cookie! Jesse and Mary were perfect throughout, cleaned up everything, and even packed up the leftovers (not many). It was a fabulous night, thanks to Up North! I would once again highly recommend them for any occasion - large or small, since we have now done both and been thrilled with our experiences! T

Absolutely loved the fantastic birthday dinner during my bachelorette weekend! A great presentation with even more amazing tasting food! Jesse is very professional, on time, clean, and personable. Working with Jesse and his staff was amazing. From the first call to enjoying his food every detail went smooth and very easy! We had a family gathering at our cabin in Emily, MN with a variety of ages and from around the US. EVERYONE loved the food and said it was the best walleye they have had. The vegetarians in our group were impressed with options there was for them as well! It was great to enjoy family time and not worry about the food! It was so fun and extremely happy with every step! We will definitely use Jesse again!!

UpNorth Eats catered a NYE dinner for our family 14 kids/teens and 14 adults while staying at a resort up in Nisswa. Jesse was a great communicator and easy to work with on the planning and the team that worked our event was engaging and professional, and the dinner was delicious! This took so much pressure off around meal prep and clean-up, and our family was able to relax and enjoy a wonderful evening together.

If you're looking for an in-home chef for a special event, you've found it with Up North Eats. Jesse was incredibly professional, flexible, and provided an exceptional meal for our group of 13. I wanted a special Italian meal for a 40th birthday party. Jesse provided an incredible three course meal that began with a fabulous charcuterie board and flatbread pizzas, followed with a delightful caprese salad, and a savory tuscan chicken pasta that was phenomenal. We ended with meal with the a chocolate chip cookie skillet with ice cream, chocolate and Carmel sauce. He and his partner did everything from purchasing fresh ingredients, preparation in our kitchen, setting the table, clean up and storing left overs. We didn't lift a finger, we were absolutely cared for from start to finish. The price was comparable to a fine restaurant meal but better because we were in our home and able to be comfortable and have fun. Thank you Jesse and. your team for everything. I will 100% book you again for the next special occasion!

We hired this team for our team retreat for Duo Collective up in Nisswa and the experience was 100 stars. They came to our Airbnb, created a custom menu, accommodated dietary restrictions, served, cooked and cleaned everything. The farm to table experience was so go. "The best steak I've ever had" was repeated multiple times. If you are looking for a company up North to be your private chef it's no question at all. Book them!

We have worked with Up North Eats twice now and they are absolutely amazing!!! Chef and their staff is so friendly, professional, and enjoyable to have as a part of your evening!! I’d invite them as guests for both events if I could! The food is incredible, everything we have had is perfectly made and delicious. One of the stand out features of their service is setting up and CLEANING up after the meal. Kitchen is left spotless and leftovers are in the fridge. Truly our favorite experience from both cabin weekend trips and cannot wait to work with them again! 100/10!

Jesse and his assistant Mary were truly amazing! The dining experience was better than we could have imagined. Delicious food, beautifully displayed and the timing of everything was perfect for our party of 11 guests. We celebrated a friend's 60th Birthday in style!! We look forward to having them cook for us again!!
